NY2NO

As the NY2NO family is rapidly growing, we are trying to adapt to make it possible for everyone to be involved as they want to be. In order to do this, we will be holding a convention for anyone who has been to New Orleans with NY2NO so that everyone can participate in the new forming of the organization.

The convention will be held from 3:00- 6:00 PM on Saturday, October  18th.
It will be held at:

The Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew on  263 w. 86th st. and West End Avenue
Take the Broadway-7th Avenue Local (1) train to 86th Street and walk 1
block to West End Avenue. The Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew will
be to the right.

Our idea right now is to divide into different committees. The potential committees we came up with are as follows. Please consider them before the convention and think about what you might want to change/add/get rid of:

-Trips (NOSC etc.)/Applications... connected to ...Flights/Emailing/
Coordination in NOLA
- Plan Your Own Trip Committee (Schools should be $ independent)
- Media
- Fundraising
- Outreach/Presentations/Education
- New York Organizing (this is very broad and will probably divide
into smaller groups)
- Tech/Blog Updates

We are currently working editing and updating our website as we try to make it more useful and informative for everyone. When we are done with all of the major changes we will "unveil" the new website, informing everyone of all the new updates and useful features.
